The site in a modern acrostic form that carried the team The Noise Reduction is not a self-promotion space in view of recognition and notoriety. The aim is to present passions and try to share them. The attached resume is just to introduce myself and my professional career track without speech or unnecessary developments. You said passion?
Medicine is the first of all. My father was doctor in medicine. I traced his exceptional road in my book La dernière gare - Berettyόύjfalu ou la blessure des acacias. My mother shared her life of general practicioner in countryside: a splendid and challenging , great medicine, clinical and human, restless eleven months out of twelve, day, night, weekend, home visits exhausting a vehicle in less than two years, emergency, endless consultations, home births and, at the end of his career, a passion intact. I do not have to look further to understand my desire of being a doctor.
Education, Internal medicine, a passage through gastroenterology speciality and finally my meeting mentioned as "H" for hematology. A fascination for blood, not blood that flows from the injury or damage, but which carries with it the mystery of life, the history of humanity and its migration, fantasies of all cultures, civilizations and religions, various images sometimes erroneous, even ridiculous: in a few words, the blood of men.
Travel, flight, diving, magical trilogy where each can be associated with the other.
To travel! Travel means going away; travel means discovering or finding, travel means meeting, travel means marveling, admiring, wondering; travel means worrying, getting lost, lacking of understanding, communicating without being able to speak, coping; travel means feeling, tasting, liking or dismissing, seeing, hearing, perceiving without judjement. Coming back, and going away again.
Fly! I had the chance to be born in the middle of the twentieth century, when man after the heroic and sometimes tragic beginnings of XIXth century, finally realized the old dream of Icarus, discovering also that he would freeze to death before his wings smelt. The small plane run on the airway. The noise of the engine, all the scrap and wheels increases with trembling of the cabin, the V1 has little sense on these cuckoos. The only one is the Vr, rotation speed, magic moment where the pilot will pull on the stick. The heavier than air becomes light and almost silent. I’ll never get tired of this feeling.
In my early childhood I practiced spearfishing with rudimentary equipment: mask, snorkel, fins and short rifle slings with an arrow triangular trident that left no chance to a poor labrum: it was my first victim. Apnea, which remains the basis of this activity is associated with a certain kind of freedom and a contact with the marine environment that the tanks have not quite replaced. Yet, scuba diving is the opportunity to discover a never ending diversity in its fauna, flora and colors. It’s a three-dimensional universe, like plane. It has and a strange relationship with time: dive time is limited by the amount of air in the tanks. Hopefully, it happens that the time stops: the crossing of a great manta, in my opinion the most beautiful animal in the world, the arrival from nowhere of a large shark , a Lord, who slowly goes in your direction, but then does not feel any interest in you, the beauty of a dolphin, the elegant flight of the sea turtle or eagle rays, corals rivaling color, mysterious wrecks.
The photo and film, where amateurism is perceptible, allow me to relive and especially to share with the guest that you are these moments , traveling, diving, flying and among all these trips , the most beautiful of all: the life.
